Port Huon Cottages provides self-contained accommodation in the centre of Tasmania’s Huon Valley on the picturesque Huon River, a scenic 45 minute drive south of the Hobart CBD.
All accommodation at Port Huon Cottages are designed around the spectacular views over the Huon River and the Hartz Mountains. The cottages are self-contained, private and have balconies, all with fantastic water and mountain views.
We have a total of 9 cottages available and can offer guests a choice of one and two bedroom cottages – including a spa cottage.
We have a centralized carpark and a short walk is required to each cottage.
Port Huon – Huon Valley
Port Huon is a small community with big, sweeping views of the Huon River and the Hartz Mountains. Port Huon was once a busy trading port and the destination for international apple boats that transported the region’s famous apples to the world.
The original port remains and is a quaint reminder of the glory days of apple growing. Our clean green image, produce, scenery, laid back lifestyle and the friendliness of our people are something that all Tasmanians are very proud of. So come south and enjoy our friendly hospitality!
